  6. The IANA is the central coordinator for the assignment of unique
  7. parameter values.  Requests for parameter assignments should be sent
  8. to <iana@isi.edu>.

  10. The most recent summary of these assigned parameter values is
  11. "Assigned Numbers" which is STD-2 and RFC-1340.
  12.  
  13. RFCs are now available via FTP from at least 20 on-line repositories
  14. around the world, and at least 6 of these provide automated retrieval
  15. via email.
  16.  
  17. A complete listing of these sources and other "help" information about
  18. accessing RFCs can be obtained via an email request to the RFC-INFO
  19. service:
